Lake Duma Jandal
Lake Dumat Al-Jandal is located in the desert, as it was created by the flow of irrigation water that began in 1987. The lake was formed in a depression of high hills on all sides over an area estimated at one million square meters of irregular dimensions. The lake is fed by groundwater and excess farm water that flows into the middle of this lake. Lake Dumat Al-Jandal is the largest unnatural lake in the Arabian Peninsula in general and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular.
The development of Lake Dumat Al-Jandal began in 2006 after starting to asphalt the surrounding streets, then paving and lighting them and placing an iron fence parallel to them. After that, a fountain was installed, which is the second tallest fountain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with a number of projects, including the marina and the floating restaurant
